Help when you need it
Jotory Support
Get help with Jotory on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Jotory does not require a separate account; your Apple Account and iCloud availability determine whether notes synchronize between your devices.
iCloud sync
Use the same Apple Account on each device and make sure iCloud is available. Synchronization timing depends on the network and system conditions, so a recent change may not appear immediately.
If notes are not updating, open Jotory’s Settings and check its iCloud status. Confirm that each device is online, signed into the intended Apple Account, and has iCloud enabled. Use the status screen’s recheck option after correcting an account or network issue.
Apple Account changes
Jotory uses the private iCloud database associated with the Apple Account on your device. Notes do not automatically transfer between different Apple Accounts. Before switching accounts, allow current changes to synchronize and keep a copy of anything important.
If you first used Jotory without iCloud and later sign in, return to Jotory and recheck iCloud availability. Locally created notes should not be deleted or replaced while the app prepares them for synchronization.
Permissions and dictation
Jotory asks for a protected permission only when you use the related feature. Dictation needs microphone and speech-recognition access. Saving an image to your photo library may need permission to add photos.
If a feature cannot access what it needs, review Jotory’s permissions in the Settings app on your device, then return to Jotory and try again.
Photos, PDFs, and SVG artwork
Jotory notes can include photos, PDFs, and scalable SVG artwork. Very large files can take longer to synchronize. Keep Jotory open and the device online while an important attachment finishes appearing on another device.
If an attachment is missing, first confirm that the note itself has synchronized and that both devices use the same Apple Account. If the problem continues, contact support with the attachment type and approximate file size; do not attach private content unless needed.
