Do I need to create a Jotory account?
No. Jotory doesn’t maintain a separate user account. It uses the Apple Account already connected to your device for private iCloud synchronization.
How do notes sync between my devices?
Install Jotory on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac and use the same Apple Account on each device. Jotory synchronizes your notes through your private iCloud database in its CloudKit container.
iCloud must be enabled. Sync timing can depend on the network and system conditions.
Can two different Apple Accounts share the same notes?
Not through private iCloud synchronization. Devices need to use the same Apple Account. Sharing notes between different people would require a separate sharing feature that Jotory doesn’t currently provide.
What happens if iCloud isn’t enabled?
You can still open Jotory, but notes won’t synchronize with your other devices until iCloud becomes available. Jotory will show the current iCloud status and explain what needs attention.
Does Jotory receive my Apple Account password?
No. Apple handles the device’s Apple Account authentication. Jotory never asks for or receives your Apple Account password.
Is Jotory a website or an app?
Jotory is a native app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac, coming soon to the App Store. This website introduces the app; it isn’t a browser-based notes editor.
Can a note include more than text?
Yes. You can use rich text, lists, and checklists, and add photos, PDFs, and scalable SVG artwork to your notes.
When will Jotory be available?
We have not announced a release date. App Store links will be added here when the iPhone, iPad, and Mac versions are available.
